From Sarah White, your About Needlecrafts Editor
Now that it's almost Thanksgiving I think it's safe to start thinking about crafting for Christmas, and if you have stockings to make you'd better get started. Here are a few great ideas for you. Happy crafting!

Sew a Christmas Stocking
If you want to sew up a traditional Christmas stocking, here's how to do it. Debbie also has a pattern for a smaller version if you don't want to go with the huge ones.

Two-Color Knit Christmas Stocking
You might think that knitting a Christmas stocking would take too long, but this simple stocking is knit in bulky yarn and worked in two colors for a quick but bold project.

Personalized Christmas Stocking
This knit stocking takes a little more time, but it's also personalized so it's an instant heirloom and well worth the work.

Christmas Stocking Quilt Block Pattern
OK, so this one isn't an actual stocking, but this cute quilt block would be great for a holiday pillow or as part of a Christmas-themed quilt.
